Proudly South Australia's most successful dragon boat club in local, national & international events 2006-7-8-9-10-11
- Have successfully competed in every Australian Championship
- Competed in IDBF World Club Crew Championships in Cape Town,
- South Africa (2004), Toronto, Canada (2006), Penang, Malaysia (2008) & Macau (2010)
- Members have represented Australia at 2004 World Championships in Shanghai and 2011 Worlds in Tampa, Florida
- Hold 100km Murray Marathon record in a dragon boat (since 2000)
- Hold 200km Murray Marathon record in a dragon boat (set in 2008)
- In 2006, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 achieved the enviable reputation of being the most successful SA Club in local, national and international competition
- A membership base which extends to the regional towns of Streaky Bay & Ceduna on Eyre Peninsula
- Support numerous community projects/groups including Cranio-Maxillo Facial Foundation, Save the Children, LeFevre Kindergarten, St Bedes Church & Project Dolphin Safe.
- Conducts a 4-weekly WEA Dragon Boating courses 3 times a year
Training Times
Our training sessions are held at Aquatic Reserve, Bower Road, West Lakes on: Monday & Wednesday 6:30pm Saturday 8.30am and 10am for our Development Squad for beginners.
