Founded in 2011 to support the recovery of breast cancer survivors, Copper Coast Battle Dragons Boat Club has evolved to include men and women across all ages, embracing survivors and supporters of Breast Cancer.
We support the development of mental and physical health of our members through safe, non-contact team sport.
Dragon boating improves cardiovascular fitness, core strength, shoulder and back muscles and it is a true team sport for a broad range of fitness
levels and age groups.
Our main club involvements include training/paddling 3 times a week all year round, weather permitting. We are very active in ongoing fundraising, sponsorship activities and continual membership recruitment. We participate in competitions throughout the year, and we host an annual competition in our local marina, 'The Wallaroo Marina Challenge'.
Copper Coast Battle Dragons is a member group of Breast Cancer Network Australia.
