Step into the Action – Join our Team of Volunteers!

DragonBoat SA is calling on the assistance of volunteers for our 2026-27 season and beyond!

We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities throughout the dragon boat season and encourage expressions of interest from anyone aged 14 and over. Students are most welcome, and eligible community involvement hours can be credited.

DBSA’s dragon boat events thrive because of our incredible volunteers. Without their commitment and effort, these events simply wouldn’t happen.

We have 7-8 race days a season at Aquatic Reserve, West Lakes and State Championships at the A.M. Ramsay Regatta Course, 100 Military Road, West Lakes.

There’s a role for everyone. Once people experience the camaraderie and the spirit of the ceremony, they’re often inspired to return as volunteers year after year.

Volunteering can help you make friends, learn new skills and even feel happier and healthier.  Benefits include:

  • Making new friends and contacts
  • Increasing your social and relationship skills
  • Helps you stay physically healthy

While it’s true that volunteering becomes even more rewarding the more you get involved, it doesn’t have to be long‑term or time‑consuming to make a real difference

If you are interested in volunteering for a DBSA regatta, don’t hesitate to get in touch with DBSA.
